The Golden Rule Of High Performance Eating

Nutrition is a very sensitive topic. There’s so many opinions and approaches out there and I will not comment or recommend any of these. What I WILL do is tell you a little story about Tim who made me care about High Performance Eating with 1 simple question. And I am sure, if you will ask yourself this question, you will start caring about High Performance eating, too!

Let‘s take a look at the typical eating habit of a business person. Skipping breakfast, coffee at the office, quick sandwich for lunch, starving in the afternoon, big dinner at night. The Result – a yoyo effect between feeling hungry or stuffed but never really energized. Sounds familiar to you? I was no different for many years. The problem is – there‘s very little understanding for the connection between what you eat on the one hand and how you feel and how you perform on the other.

I had my personal break through when I started working with a high performance nutritionist called Tim. But there’s two strategies that I want to highlight, because they were the biggest game changers for myself:

1. Eat 5 times per day instead of 2-3 big meals. This strategy will provide you with the constant energy you need to perform at your best the whole day.

2. Decide in advance what you’re going to eat so you‘re not at the mercy of your canteen, the vending machine, or the airport shops.

Every nutrition choice you make will impact your performance. So choose wisely!
